Veterans Chase Turkeys in the Flint Hills

Veterans from Texas and Kansas gathered in the Flint Hills for the first inaugural Kansas Turkey Hunt, hosted by Forest, Jardine, and Dru.

Veterans from Texas and Kansas joined together in the Flint Hills for the first inaugural Kansas Turkey Hunt in May 2026.

Forest, Jardine, and Dru generously hosted the group, opening up their home for a weekend of chasing birds together.

Tags and hearts were filled by the end of the trip. The weather and scenery were perfect, and the camaraderie shared with fellow brothers was top notch.
